Lendonwood Gardens in Grove is inviting all area artists and artisans to show and sell their works in the 2014 Art in the Garden at Lendonwood exhibit and sale on Saturday, May 3.  There is no charge for exhibitors, who may retain all of the revenues from their sales.

This year, the arts event coincides with the Gardens’ Community Open House, in which the public is invited to explore the botanical garden at a beautiful time of year.

Cindy Reynolds, Lendonwood board member who is coordinating the event, said Art in the Gardens always draws “a diverse group of professional and student artists, as well as artisans displaying a wide range of crafts.”

“We’re looking forward to showing off all sorts of artworks, ranging from those of quilting clubs, painting organizations, individual artisans, jewelry-makers and many others,” she said.  “We hope to host potters, broom-makers, wood-turners, carvers, sculptors, oil painters, watercolorists and more.”

Lendonwood offers the perfect backdrop for the artworks, with its colorful trees, shrubs and flowers, especially in the spring season.  The public botanical garden displays large collections of azaleas, rhododendrons, dogwoods, daylilies, Japanese maples and hostas.

Exhibitors interested in the Art in the Gardens show should contact Lendonwood at 918-786-2938 for more information about the event. We know you  will enjoy ART IN THE GARDEN  EVENT AT Lendonwood
