“March Madness Double Dribble” Cat Adoption at Second Chance Pet Rescue
March is the time of year for frenzied college basketball fans to go crazy trying to keep up with who is in and who is out of the tournament. In honor of the madness of college basketball, Second Chance Pet Rescue of Grand Lake is encouraging some “double dribbling” – adopt two cats. During the month of March, you can adopt two adult cats for one low adoption fee of only $10. Any two kittens younger than 6 months can be adopted for $25. All of our shelter cats are spayed or neutered, vet wellness checked and vaccinated. Where else could you possibly find two furry bundles of love for this amazing adoption special price?
What could be cuter than two cats who are already “BFF” – Best Friends Forever! Two cats can be company for each other, especially cats from the same litter or who already live together at the shelter. Research has shown that cats that have a companion are better socially adjusted and stay healthier. And two cats provide a source of unconditional love, loyalty, and entertainment for the entire family.
Visit Second Chance Pet Rescue during “March Madness Double Dribble” Cat Adoption month. If you can’t adopt, but want to help, please spay or neuter your pets to reduce the number of homeless animals in the Grand Lake communities. Another way to help is by becoming a foster family. Fostering is a temporary placement of our rescued animals which can save their lives, We are always in need of people who want to open their homes and their hearts to work with our animals to make them become more adoptable. Foster families care for puppies and kittens not yet old enough to be placed up for adoption or dogs and cats recovering from medical or behavioral issues.
Anyone can help the homeless animals by mailing a tax-deductible donation to Second Chance Pet Rescue, a non-profit animal rescue shelter. Please help your local Second Chance Pet Rescue today by mailing your check to P.O. Box 451205, Grove, OK 74345 or donate electronically via its website.
