Are you a car enthusiast? And an animal lover? Is your idea of enjoying a hot July Saturday spending it at an indoor car show where it will be cool? Then join Second Chance Pet Rescue of Grand Lake at its 4th Annual “Cars for Critters” benefit on Saturday, July 18, at the Grove Civic Center from 11 am to 3 pm. It promises to be a fun-filled family affair with free admission.
There will be food to enjoy, your favorite oldies music playing, raffles, door prizes, and lots of American Classic and European Exotic cars to view. Also, there will be a Dog Adoption showcasing several of our special shelter dogs wanting a forever family. The “Cars for Critters” indoor car show will be great family fun for everyone of all ages to enjoy – all to raise funds to help the homeless animals of Second Chance Pet Rescue.
Show off your ride by entering your car in the “Cars for Critters” car show. Classic, exotic, hot rods, trucks, and special interest cars are all welcome. Registration also available at the Grove Civic Center on Friday evening, July 17, after 4 pm and on Saturday morning July 18, from 7-11 am. Car entry fee is $10. Register early as indoor space will fill up quickly.
Trophies will be awarded for “Best of Show” and “Mayor’s Choice.” Also dash plaques for car entrants and awards for Top 20 Models in categories 1985 and older and 1986 and newer. After 3 pm, cars will cruise from the Civic Center to 3rd Street and back.
