Save the date – the Humane Society of Grove and Grand Lake Christmas Breakfast and Dessert Auction is now scheduled for Saturday, December 21, at the Grove Community Center, 7:30-10:30 am. No need to do your Holiday baking as there will be plenty of wonderful desserts to bid on at the Dessert Auction. Breakfast/Dessert Auction was rescheduled due to the winter storm.

Floyd is neutered, vaccinated, loves to play and is hoping for a home for the holidays. There are many homeless dogs and cats in the Grove Humane Society shelter that need homes and families to share the Christmas season with. The Grove Humane Society animal shelter is a good place to find that pet that is right for you and your family.
Cats, such as Floyd, are better for people who are gone from home a lot since they don’t need to be taken outside and they don’t require attention like a dog does. The adoption fee for Floyd and any cat that is 6 months or older is only $10. All shelter cats are spayed/neutered and up-to date on vaccinations. What a bargain price for the newest family member, and the Humane Society shelter is filled with beautiful cats and kittens ready for adoption this Christmas. So think of the people on your gift list and ask if they would really like a new pet this Christmas. However, make sure they would want a new pet and find out what kind of animal would best fit their needs and lifestyle.
