Power Squadron to Lead Boat Parade
The public is invited to attend the Grand Lake Sail & Power Squadron’s Independence Day Boat Parade on Friday, July 3rd to celebrate our nation’s birth. Squadron member Dave Torline will command the parade which will begin at 10 a.m.
Parade participants will meet at the courtesy docks of the Parrot Restaurant near Honey Creek Marina to complete the decorating of their boats with flags, streamers, bunting or other patriotic decor.
The parade will travel west in Honey Creek to the main lake, then proceed north along the east shore to the Patricia Island area and then across the main channel to Terra Miranda for lunch. All you need to do is follow the leader!
